CONNECTING COMMUNITIES
through innovative transportation solutions
About the MVTMA
The Merrimack Valley Transportation Management Association (MVTMA) is a a non-profit organization that works to solve transportation problems and provide commute options.
We work closely with state government, local businesses and municipalities in the Merrimack Valley region of Massachusetts.
The MVTMA is funded through membership dues. As a non-profit organization, we reinvest that money into solutions and incentive programs to our members in the Merrimack Valley region who are committed to sharing their commute (via ridesharing, biking, walking or taking public transportation to/from work) or choosing a transit option that doesn’t involve driving alone in a car.
Meet Our Team
Advocates for commuter-oriented and sustainability legislation
The Merrimack Valley TMA was founded as the River Road Transportation Management Association (RRTMA) in 1997. The MVTMA is a non-profit organization composed of employers and residential property owners who are working together to address transportation issues in Andover and North Andover as well as the Gateway Cities of Lawrence, Methuen and Haverhill.
The TMA has enhanced its role to serve as a resource for employers to comply with the Massachusetts Rideshare regulations, advocate for commuter-oriented and sustainability legislation, and serve as a forum for the exchange of information and ideas that impact economic development in the greater Andover region.
