For those who make their way through Haverhill on their way to or from work, be prepared for some lane closures.
According to The Eagle-Tribune, the northbound left lane between Exits 48 and 49 will close from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Tuesday, Jan. 15 until Friday, Jan. 18.
The reason for the closure is due to a four-year, $102 million project to replace the bridge over the Merrimack River between the River Road and Ward Hill exits.
Mass DOT urges all commuters to give themselves a little extra time when traveling through the area.
The Merrimack Valley TMA will continue to update you as the project continues.
